one year in serbia. most asked q&a
it’s been over a year since i moved back and it’s been an adventurous year, to say the least. here are the questions i get asked the most, to give you a pulse of the things in belgrade and what people i meet here are curious about.
Q1: “why did you come back to serbia?”
A1: why not? i learned a lot in china, and now it’s time to apply my skills in europe. i needed new challenges, so why not go back to serbia, help move things along a bit? there is lots of opportunities in serbia. i missed europe so i wanted to give it a try.
Q2: “how’s life in china?”
A2: amazing! i love china a lot, and i would go back anytime. (since this is a detailed question to answer, i just narrow it down to a few meaningful thing that are also memorable for my speaker and give them a decent answer). i enjoyed it most during olympics in 2008! that year was awesome, the city changed a lot, i watched a lot of games with my friends!
Q3: “what do you think about serbia and life here now that you are back?”
A3: lot of opportunities. i can apply a lot of things i learned abroad. things are not moving along as fast as in china, but things are moving along. serbia is thirsty for knowledge and that is a great thing! people here are smart and passionate and i am enjoying myself.
